nice food

went to this cafe
i admit it tastes really good
but the portion is small
price is expensive
atmosphere and service is ok only(not like what somebody say)
i am so gonna scold somebody
not going to mention somebody's name
but that somebody likes pink a lot...
muahahhaha
somebody, you know i am talking bout u rite?

anyways,
think i am still going there for the 2nd time
coz the cheese bake rice tastes really too good

Updates of me

How am I recently?

Here are some upadates of me:

1) Uni starts again

but my holiday mood is not yet off

2) Decided to keep long hair for this semester!

if I can tahan the hot-ness of long hair

3) Gonna be super busy with Rotaract club

anyone interested to join?

4) My lecturers are totally the same as last semester's

"happy"-nya.........

5) Taking guitar lesson! (so impossible for me =X)

hope I won't give up half way anymore like what I always did when I was young

6) Enjoy cooking again =)

after losing the interest for about half a year...

7) Haven't shop for so long :S

been digging out my old clothes that were buried ages ago

its been so long I didnt wear them :S

8) Feels that I am growing more and more mature ;)

due to several "significant" things that happened recently

9) Found my passion for life again!

finally find something that I am looking forward to

been losing that feeling for 2 years...

10) My new phrase:"Nothing is to be worry about"

Kangkong

Organic vegetables are getting more and more popular

but the prices are so not cheap

so I decided to plant my own "organic" vege

and the first luckily chosen vege is

Kangkong

to tell the truth

this is the first time I see a Kangkong seed

the not too small not too big

but just enough size vase?

according to "method of planting kangkong"

black soil is used to plant Kangkong

After 6 days...
I planted about 15++ seeds
and only 10 of them healthily grown up

Mom said that Kangkong grows faster in raining season
so I water the plants everyday
and the quantity of water I poured is like the vase is having a flood..
not sure I am killing them or helping them to grow though...

this is so funny!

Healthy food

I am trying to change my eating style recently
trying to eat more healthy food
cause my skin condition is really bad
and feel that my whole body is full of toxic
so yucky..

1) Bamboo Charcoal Bread
as you can see from the sticker
it helps digestion

for the first time i eat it
not sure whether its because 心理作用
I keep on having stomachache after eating it
feel like going to the toilet

but for the 2nd time i eat it
nothing happens....
:S

anyway, it is available at blueberry bakery
RM 3.6 for one loaf

a closer look of the bamboo bready
the bready does not has any weird taste actually
is very soft though

french bamboo bready toast + honey
it tastes good for me
although it don't look good
cause I am not a pro cook..

2) Red Yeast Chicken红糟鸡
Red yeast can lower cholesterol level
very good to a person who eats a lot fats like me..

i actually went to kuching forum to do some research on kuching famous food
haha

and really proud of my great dad
i just tell him the very not detailed address
and he get to find out all the food stalls!

Zest
the cook had 10 years cooking experience in a 5 star hotel in Spore

the menu is very cool
its made of bark

the interior of Zest

tomato kuey tiaw
i LOVE Kuching kuey tiaw
its bigger and thicker
not the same as the Miri kuey tiaw

the dim sum shop

their famous siew moi and char siew pau
the char siew pau got a lot meat inside
the pau is very soft
overall, the pau is quite delicious
=)
RM 0.6 for one siew moi
RM 1.3 for one char siew pau

the porky rice shop
very famous
heard that if you go there at 9am
bad news to you
coz sold out already
haha
not the same as the miri porky leg rice
it comes with
porky leg + porky intestine(my favourite!)
porky leg soup ( taste like the miri kueh chap but its not that salty)
cabbage curry soup (not bad the curry taste)
and chilli sauce
i find it very tasty
been missing it after my first try
haha
its RM 5 for one

the taufu hua stall
saw it in the newspaper long time ago
luckily its still there
haha

an old woman is selling it
quite cheap actually

this taufu hua really nice
i not a taufu hua lover
but this one makes me become one
its very soft
very smooth
the moment its in your mouth, it is melted
but the only bad thing is that it is too sweet for me..coz I don't like sweet stuff

actually what i saw from the forum
is that their red bean ice is very nice
but mom ordered the honey dew ice
but their ice are really cheap
one for RM 1.5 only

but the conclusion is

maybe because I tried the wrong shop...
I heard some great ones
but didnt get to go there
coz not enough time..

now I want to proudly present the 175 cafe
its newly opened by my brother's friend's boyfriend
we were their first customer!

there have free fish spa for customers

so good of them
but i didnt get to try it
coz the fishes not yet arrived

the salad chicken is nice
i don't like salad chicken actually
but their salad chicken is very crispy
think they used breadcrumbs
quite nice
the bittergourd soup also very nice
in fact there's a lot soup stall in Kuching
which makes me become a soup lover recently
haha!
healthy and tasty!

and the carrot soup!!

omgggg
its the best food I ate in Kuching
its very creamish
it tastes a bit like pumpkin soup
the taste is carrotish
not too sweet not too salty
just nice!

overall, 175 cafe is quite good

good spot for travellers, yamcha-ers
in short, everyone shall go there !
haha!

its taste ok..
quite the same as the ones in miri
maybe i still prefer the miri ones.

ordered this 5 layer teh c peng
super cool
never heard of 5 layer punya
the most i ever tried is the 3 layer one
but can't really see the 5 layer..
and it taste just like the milk tea
they added cin cau inside

last but not least

the sunny hill ice cream!
very famous in Kuching also

RM 1.5 for one
but I think it taste the same as the Mcdonald's one..
just that the texture is ....
er....donno how to say
maybe harder?

saw this very old tree

it is very straight and tall
and the roots are HUGE

conclusion for my kitty city trip
kuching really got LOTS to eat
and the food price is cheaper than miri
but it is not a good place to shop..
